It looks like we may have some photos which show the design of the new iPad Air 2. Yesterday we heard that the new iPad Air would be thinner than the current model.
The photos were posted on Tinhte, who have been accurate in the past with leaks, and the device pictured is apparently some sort of dummy unit of the new thinner iPad Air 2, which shows what the device will look like.
There are a couple of notable changes in the new iPad Air 2, that can be seen in the photos, these include Apple’s TouchID in the home button, there is also no mute switch on the device, which is interesting.
Apple are expected to make the iPad Air 2 official later this month, along with the new iPad Mini 3 with Retina display, both devices are rumored to come with iOS 8.1.
Apple are expected to launch Apple Pay when iOS 8.1 is released, and this new feature, along with TouchID is expected to be available on the two new versions of the iPad.
We are expecting both devices to be made official at an Apple press event later this month, which is rumored to take place on the 16th of October, and we are also expecting a number of other devices at the event.
