iPhone 6S

Yesterday we heard that the dimension of the new iPhone 7 are almost identical to that of the iPhone 6S.

Now the guys from MacRumors have posted an image, which you can see below, which is rumored to be a dummy unit of Apple’s next generation iPhone.

There are rumored to be a number of minor design changes to the iPhone 7 over the iPhone 6S, this can be seen when you compare the photo below to that of the iPhone 6S pictured above.

The antenna bands on the device have been moved to give the back of the iPhone a more cleaner design, they are now situated at the top and bottom of the device.

Another change shown is the Smart Connector on the back of the new iPhone, this was first introduced by Apple when they launched their new iPad Pro, this could be used for transferring data and also for charging the handset.

The dummy unit also shows a flush camera on the new iPhone, this is another rumored feature that Apple will apparently introduce when their new iPhone 7 launches.

Apple are expected to keep the design of their new iPhone very similar to that of the 6S, the major changes will happen inside the device.

We are expecting the handset to come with a faster Apple A10 processor and more RAM than the current iPhone 6S, we are also expecting Apple to offer more storage options on this years iPhone, possibly up to 256GB.

One major change that is needed on this years iPhone is the display resolution, it would be nice to see the iPhone 7 with at least a Full HD display and the 7 Plus with at least a Quad HD display, of course we will have to wait until Apple announces the devices to find out what resolution display the new iPhones will come with.

Apple will also launch iOS 10 with this years iPhones, this is expected top be made official at WWDC 2016 next month and it will launch in September along with this years iPhones.
