ThinkGeek has unveiled one of the coolest gaming products I have ever seen for capacitive touchscreen devices like the iPad. That is assuming the screen is large enough to support the cool Joystick-It controller. The thing sticks to the screen of your iPad or other capacitive device and lets you play with a real arcade style joystick.
The device was invented at ThinkGeek and has a patent pending. It is made from aluminum for style, lightweight, and to provide gamers with the feel they recall from the Arcade days of gaming. The Joystick-It needs no batteries to operate.
It’s not entirely clear how the thing sticks to the screen of your iPad or other device; I would assume some sort of suction cup. ThinkGeek will start selling the controller in limited quantities at the end of January for $24.95.
