Take it from us, at $487 each, you must be the type who’s really susceptible to classy hardware if you’re itching for these babies. Recently showcased during last week’s CeBit, the ByteSpotter line is from CONVAR, who are well-known for their top of the line PC accouterments.
What you see is what you get, three external hard drives oozing class and sophistication plus vague names to boot. A Mohawak? But hey, unlike other external hard drives, you can actually have grills installed on a ByteSpotter. Also, the customer has the privilege of choosing whether the bottom cover is done in cherry, walnut, or iron.
Anyway, the specs are pretty decent at 3.5″ 7200 rpm 1 TB. Each hard drive also has a SATA, eSATA, and USB 2.0 interfaces for optimum ease of use.
These are expensive though, costing as much as a laptop. So when you bleed cash just to pay for a single ByteSpotter, don’t complain we didn’t warn you.
