It did came up as a surprise when there was no news about the arrival of the new HTC One M8 on T-Mobile, while other three major carriers began selling it a few hours after the announcement.
T-Mobile has announced that HTC One M8 will hit the retail shelves at the Magenta carrier from April 11th on the popular uncarrier plans. Users interested in the handset can grab it for $0 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $26.50, amounting to a total of $636.
“Our friends at HTC have nailed it again,” said Jason Young, senior vice president of Marketing, T-Mobile. “The all-new HTC One (M8) has the brainpower of a true superphone together with stunning hardware design, which combined with T-Mobile’s Un-carrier freedom on America’s fastest nationwide 4G LTE network, equals an enviable package.”
The new HTC One (M8) rocks a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset with a clock speed of 2.3GHz. Other features include 2GB of RAM, 16/32/64GB storage with microSD card slot, 2,600 mAh battery with extreme saving mode, duo camera on the back, 5MP front-facing camera and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0.
The handset will also be available as a Google Play Edition device for $699 from the Google Play Store, as well as unlocked and developer edition handset that cost $649.99 and can be purchased from HTC website.
