Hours ago, HTC One (M8) went on sale on three major US carriers — Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. It was also announced at the event that HTC One M8 will also be sold in the Google Play Store as a Google Play Edition device.
If you’re wondering about the on-contract pricing of the all new HTC One M8 on these major carriers, it’s the same on all of them, but there are minor differences in prices when you decide to go off-contract.
For those of you who don’t want to sign up a contract on any carrier, they can either the unlocked version from HTC’s website or Google Play store, or get one from their desired carrier. AT&T offers the new HTC One M8 for $639.99 while the Big Red is offering it for $599. Sprint is just offering it for the regular $649.99.
AT&T is also offering the handset on AT&T Next installment plan as well. Getting it on AT&T Next 12 requires users to pay 20 monthly installments of 32$ each, amounting to a total of $640, while the AT&T Next 18 asks customers for 20 monthly payments of $24.62.
As for the Google Play Edition version, it comes with a slightly higher price tag of $699 as mentioned before with a customized Android 4.4 designed to make use of the Duo camera on the handset.
