HTC is said to be working on another mid-range handset called the HTC A12. Recently, some specifications of the alleged handset made their way on to the internet, thanks to @upleaks.
Before you get excited, it appears to be just another mid-range offering from the Taiwanese company, and reportedly comes with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.
The alleged device measures 139.8 x 69.5 x 9.5 mm and is expected to launch with a 4.7-inch display sporting a 720p resolution, 1GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 on top of it.
The alleged handset also features an 8MP camera on the back for photos and videos, a 1.3MP front-facing shooter and a 2,100 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset.
The leak suggests that HTC A12 will see the light of the day in February 2015, possibly at the Mobile World Congress 2015, and will also launch on major US carriers including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile.
There’s no official confirmation about its existence, but we’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more about the purported device.
