Chris Evans resigned from Top Gear earlier in the week and there has been speculation about who would replace him.
Now the BBC have confirmed that they will not be replacing Chris Evans, so it looks like next season of the show will be filmed with the existing presenters.
Amid speculation over who could pick up the reins, a BBC spokeswoman said on Monday night the next series of Top Gear was unlikely to see any changes to the current line-up.
She said: “We have no immediate plans to replace Chris Evans and do not expect to do so going forward. “Series 24 starts filming in September.”
Matt Le Blanc was been great in the new series of Top Gear as have some of the other hosts like Rory Reid, Chris Harris and Sabine. It will be interesting to see exactly what the Top Gear presneter line up is like for the next series.
