Tankless Scuba Diving

BLU3 has created a new tankless scuba diving system aptly named Nemo, which is being marketed as the “world’s smallest dime system”. Offering a compact and easy-to-use tankless dive system that supports one diver to a depth of 10 feet.

Launched via Kickstarter this week the campaign has already raised over $61,000 thanks to over 100 backers. Check out the demonstration video below to learn more about the Nemo tankless dive system created by BLU3 which is now available to back with early bird pledges available from $349 or £270. Features of Nemo include :

– Smart Reg
– Low-battery alarm
– Rechargeable/swappable battery
– Comfortable dive harness
– Accessible (compact and lightweight)
– Air travel capable

“NEMO is the perfect way for snorkelers to take their adventures beyond the surface. It’s an incredibly compact Surface-Supplied Air dive system that supports one diver to ten feet. Whether you’re an ocean explorer, poolside parent, treasure hunter, underwater photographer, boat owner, kayaker/paddleboarder, or in search of the latest yacht toy – NEMO is for you.”

For more details, full specifications and a list of all available pledges jump over to the official crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below. “Inside of NEMO is a custom battery-powered air compressor. The compressor pumps air to the diver through the 10-foot hose and out through our patent-pending Smart Reg. Our Smart Reg saves battery life by monitoring breathing patterns to let the compressor know exactly when it needs to send air. This means NEMO doesn’t just push air to you, but rather breathes with you.”
