Razer has revealed earlier this month that two of its Razer Blade gaming laptop prototypes were stolen from its premises on November 5th. The Razer Blade is a new gaming laptop Razer is currently developing and is marketed as the “world’s first true gaming laptop”.
The stolen prototypes weren’t fully functional and one was undergoing a weekend-long thermal test, but Razer say the theft shouldn’t have any effect on the planned launched date of the Razer Blade laptop.
Razer is hoping to be able to recovered the prototypes and the testing data that is inside and is hoping that someone will spot the Razer Blade in use and report its whereabouts. Its long, thin form-factor and glowing green, snake logo shouldn’t be to hard to miss. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the company at cult@razerzone.com.
Its thought the new Razer Blade gaming laptop will launch before the end of the year for around $2,800.
