When Sony announced their new Xperia Z smartphone, they also announced another new Android device, the Sony Xperia ZL, although we have not heard much about the ZL since it was ann0unced.
Now it would appear that we have the Sony Xperia ZL release date, the handset will go on sale in Germany in April, the device has been listed at European retailer Phone house will a launch date of April and a price of 599 Euros.
The Sony Xperia ZL has slightly different specifications to the Xperia Z, it features a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro processor.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia ZL include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, the handset features dual cameras with a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video chat and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera for photos and video.
If the Sony Xperia ZL is launching in Germany in April, then we would expect the handset to be available in the UK and the rest of Europe at a similar time, as soon as we get some more information and also details on what carriers the device will be available with we will let you guys know.
