Sony already has a high end Phablet with the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, and now it looks like Sony has a budget Phablet in the works, the device goes by the name of the Sony Xperia Tianchi.
The Sony Xperia Tianchi is said to come with a 6 inch display, the display will come with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device will apparently share a similar design to the Xperia Z Ultra, although that model features a 6.4 inch full HD display.
Under the hood of the Sony Xperia Tianchi will be an 8 core MediaTek MT6592 processor, not details on how much RAM although we would expected between 1GB and 2GB.
The Xperia Tianchi will apparently be announced at Sony’s press event on the 12th of November, another device we are expecting to see at the event is the international version of the Xperia Z1f, which is expected to be called the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini.
We are expecting the specifications on the Xperia Z1 Mini to be the same as the Z1f, which will include a 4.3 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Xperia Z1 Mini will also come with a 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera and will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. We should have full details about the new Sony Xperia Tianchi and the new Sony Xperia Z1 Mini on the 12th of October.
