Sony recently unveiled the Sony NGP, or Next Generation Portable, and whilst they announced all the specifications, unfortunately, they didn’t reveal any details on pricing.
We have heard previously that the Sony NGP would retail for $299, and now there are rumors that it will retail somewhere between $299 and $349, with the WiFi-only version reported to cost $299 and the WiFi and 3G version reported to cost $349.
Whilst the pricing does seem to be just speculation at the moment, we suspect that it won’t be far off this when Sony announces the official pricing, and with the Nintendo 3DS retailing for $249, Sony will need to keep the price similar to this.
