Sony Entertainment has this week finally announced the arrival of their Sony Music Unlimited iOS application, which will be arriving in the Apple iTunes store this Friday, and has been created for use on Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch devices.
The free application will provide subscribers to Sony’s Music Unlimited with access to the global music catalog whenever and wherever they are. Features within the Sony Music Unlimited app allow you to easily add songs to and create playlists, search related artists and tracks, and browse by genre. Tim Schaaff, President of Sony Network Entertainment International explains:
“With the proliferation of connected devices, consumers expect complete access to their digital entertainment and demand a consistent experience regardless of the device,”-“Bringing the Music Unlimited service to iPhone and iPod touch is one of the many ways we are able to reach more music lovers around the world while ensuring the same level of high-quality entertainment that is associated with the overall Sony Entertainment Network experience.”
