We previously heard that the new Samsung Galaxy S9 would get a minor upgrade in terms of its design over the Galaxy S8. Previous rumors suggested that the design and the form factor of the two handsets would be very similar. We also heard that Samsung would use the same size displays in the new smartphones.
Now Evan Blass have revealed that this years Galaxy S9 will feature a minor update in terms of the handsets design. You can see his tweet below.

We heard previously that Samsung will have exclusive access to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and that there would also be a version of the handset with the new Exynos 8910 processor from Samsung. We are also expecting the handset to come with 6GB of RAM, there may also be an 8GB version.
Samsung will make a number of upgrades to the device in terms of features. We recently heard that the company is working on a some new facial recognition for the handset. There may also be three versions if the device next year, the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus and the Galaxy S9 Mini.
If rumors are correct Samsung is planning an earlier launch for their Galaxy S9 next year and we could see these new smartphones launching at Mobile World Congress in February. Samsung usually launches the handsets ate their own event later on.
