The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is another device in Samsung’s S5 range, we recently saw some benchmarks on the handset from AnTuTu, and now the device has appeared in the GFXBench benchmarks.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will come with a 5.1 inch full high definition display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the processor shown in the GFX benchmarks in the quad core Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock speed of 2.5GHz.
The processor that appeared in the AnTuTu benchmarks was a quad core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, so it isn’t clear as yet if there will be two version of the handset, it could possibly be that there will be different processors in different regions.
The rest of the specifications are similar to what we heard previously, it will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, there will also be a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 16 megapixel rear camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, as yet we are not sure if the device will launch next month with the Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Prime.
