It would appear that we have some information on the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date, we had previously heard that the handset would be officially announced in March and would go on sale in April.
We heard previously that the Samsung Galaxy S4 would be announced at a special Samsung unpacked event in March, and now we have a possible date for the Samsung unpacked event of the 15th of March.
According to Sammobile Samsung are expected to send out invites for the March the 15th Samsung Unpacked event right after the end of Mobile World Congress, which takes place at the end of this month.
Sammobile are also saying that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will then go on sale in April, this ties in with what we heard from our source previously who said that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will hit retail stores some time between the 15th and 22nd of April.
We have heard a number of rumored specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy S4 previously, which include a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is also rumored to come with Samsung’s new 8 core Exynos Octa 5 processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, it will also feature 2GB of RAM, and either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage.
We are also expecting the Samsung Galaxy S4 to feature some new eye tracking technology as we previously heard about some new patent filings for ‘Eye Scroll’ and ‘Eye Pause’ technology for mobile devices.
We are looking forward to getting confirmation on the Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications, from what we have heard so far this is going to be a very interesting smartphone, and we suspect will be Samsung’s most popular Galaxy device to date.
