We have heard quite a few different Samsung Galaxy S4 rumors over the last few weeks, the latest is that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will come with a home button, this would tie in with the render of the device we have seen recently.
The news comes from Korean publication ddaily, who have said that the handset will not use Samsung’s S-Pen, but will come with the no contact gestures that we recently heard about.
As well as the touchless gestures we are also expecting some other new technology to be introduced with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4, a new eye tracking technology which was recently discovered in some Samsung patent filing.
The new eye tracking technology is related to two patents which are for mobile devices and come with the names Eye Scroll and Eye pause, we presume that this technology will be included in the Samsung Galaxy S4.
We are also expecting the Samsung Galaxy S4 to feature wireless charging, yesterday we saw a new Samsung branded wireless charger that appeared at the FCC, the device is rumored to be for the Galaxy S4.
Hardware wise, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to come with a 4.99 inch full high definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, we are also expecting Samsung to debut their new 8 core Exynos 5 Octa processor in the Galaxy S4, the clock speed of the processor is rumored to be 1.8GHz.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will also come with dual cameras, a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video chat and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera for photos and video, and the handset will also come with 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB pf built in storage.
We are expecting Samsung to officially announce the Galaxy S4 at a Samsung unpacked event on the 15th of March in Moscow, and the device is rumored to launch in Europe some time between the 15th and 22nd of April, and will launch in the US in late May or early June.
