Yesterday we heard a rumor that Samsung and Google would be announcing the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition, the device is now official and it will come with stock Android in the form of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition will come with 16GB of built in storage, and will feature an unlocked bootloader, it will be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile in the US and will launch in June.
Specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition remain the same as the original device in terms of hardware, the handset will come with a quad core 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, it comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and features a 5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition include a 2,600 mAh battery, the device also comes with dual cameras with a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera, plus a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition will launch in the US on the 26th of June and will retail for $649, there are no details as yet on when the handset will be available in the UK and Europe.
