Earlier today we heard about the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, and now it looks like Samsung has another device to add to their Galaxy S4 range, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has recently appeared in the Bluetooth SIG, and it looks like this will be the rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 that we heard about last month.
As yet we do not have many details about the specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, what we do know is that the device will be dust and waterproof and will come with a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
We suspect that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active may also come with some sort of rugged casing, as the back casing on the S4 isn’t exactly the toughest smartphone case we have seen.
It is possible that the other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active could be the same as the S4, which could include a quad core 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.
Other specifications on the rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 may include 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera, the handset also features a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video chat and it features a microSD card slot, plus Bluetooth and WiFi.
As soon as we get some more details on the new Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, including some actual pictures of the handset and some confirmed specifications we will let you guys know.
