We have been hearing rumors for a while that Samsung’s new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III would come with a quad core processor, and now it would appear that this has been confirmed by Samsung.
According to the Korea Times, a Samsung executive, who hasn’t been named has confirmed to the publication that the Galaxy S III will feature Samsung’s new quad core Eynos processor.
We had previously heard that the Samsung Galaxy S III would feature a quad core 1.5GHz processor, and it looks like the device will feature a quad core Exynos 4112 processor.
We still don’t have the launch date for the new Samsung Galaxy S III and also new official word from Samsung, although we are expecting the device to be launched around June or July.
