We heard a rumor yesterday that Samsung would be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II in South Korea.
Samsung has now announced that the have started rolling out the Android 4.0 update in Korea and also some European countries, which include Poland, Hungary and Sweden.
Samsung have said that they will be rolling out the update to other markets, although no specific date was give, from what we have heard previously we suspect the update should be available in the US and the rest of Europe by this Thursday the 15th.
Samsung has also announced that they will roll out Android 2.3 Gingerbread to some of their earlier devices, which include the GALAXY S, GALAXY Tab 7”, GALAXY S Plus, GALAXY S SCL), and GALAXY W by the end of March.
