The Samsung Galaxy Note went on sale here in the UK, the device is available SIM free from a number of retailers and now it is headed to UK mobile carrier O2, although there are no details as yet on how much O2 will charge for the device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is described as a device which is a cross between a smartphone and a tablet, and it features a massive 5.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Processing comes in the form of a dual core 1.4GHz processor, there is also 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera which can record HD video in 1080p and a front facing 2 megapixel camera.
The Galaxy Note comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, although Samsung has plans to release an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich later this year or at the start of next year.
