Samsung Galaxy Note 7 met an unfortunate end last year when the reports of the handset catching fires appeared all over the internet.
The company is investigating the main issue, which many believe to be is the battery, and the full investigation report is coming on January 23rd.
According to a report from Reuters, citing a person familiar with the matter, Samsung has identified the main culprit which appears to be the battery. The report continues to mentioned that Samsung managed to replicate the fire caused by the battery during its investigation, and that there’s no fault in the hardware or software design of the handset.
Furthermore, the company will also share its Q4 results as well as the measures to make sure incidents like these never happen with the future devices.
