As well as unveiling their new Samsung ATIV Q hybrid tablet and laptop last night. Samsung also unveiled their new Samsung ATIV Tab 3 which is one of the thinnest Windows 8 tablets currently available.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is fitted with a 10.1-inch display offering a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution and is powered by a Atom Z2760 processor supported by 2GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage for files and media and a micro SD card slot, allowing you to add up to 32GB of additional storage when required.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 does supplied running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8 x86 version operating system and not the Windows RT version, but unlike the Samsung ATIV Q, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 doesn’t offer the ability to swap between Windows 8 and Google’s Android operating system.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 measure just 8.2 mm thick and weighs in at 550grams and is capable of providing a 10 hour battery life on a single charge. There is also an optional keyboard dock available for the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 that will be available separately.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet for the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 Windows 8 tablet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
