We can’t stress this enough: Alexander Perfiliev is the unrecognized monarch of miniature model makers and DIY nutcases alike. The elderly Russian has been plying his talents for decades now and the resulting masterpieces are a sight to behold, if only they weren’t so small.
Seen above is a replica AK47 with a folding stock and bayonet. The real kicker is the assault rifle is only two matches in length. See, that’s what Alexander specializes in: miniature fire arms.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, Alexander has a whole (tiny) closet of vintage pistols the length of a single matchstick (some of them have holsters included) plus an assortment of World War 2 era sub machine guns.
Among our favorites are Alexander’s renditions of such classics as the PPsh 41, the Degtyarev light machine gun, a bolt action Mosin Nagant, the AK47, and a Sterling SMG.
