This week in Hong Kong footwear manufacturer Puma has unveiled its new Fit Intelligence (Fi) line of self lacing trainers which build upon the company’s first HyperAdapt 1.0 self lacing training shoes unveiled back in 2016. The Puma Fi Has been designed to offer consumers a training and light running shoe which is expected to be available to purchase during the spring months of 2020 priced at around $330 a pair.
Check out the video embedded below to see the new self lacing trainers from Puma in action. To tighten the shoes simply swipe up on the touchpad and to loosen a quick swipe down. As you would expect the shoes also come complete with a companion application allowing you to tighten the shoe directly from your smartphone. Offering a fantastic piece of technology for those incapable of tying their own shoelaces. Hopefully they will manufacture smaller shoe sizes the children under the age of five.
