A new device has been created by Prizm that enables your speakers to learn your favourite music, and the more your use the new Prism hardware the more accurate your automated music system becomes.
Prizm will learn when you prefer to listen to particular music and will let you listen to a different tune every day if you would like, playing melodies in the morning and beats when you return home from work. Watch the video below to hear its creator explained more about this unique music technology.
The Prizm project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise $70,000 in pledges from backers to launch in to production. Its creator explains a little more :
“Whether you are alone at home, with family, or partying with friends, Prizm adapts and predicts the music you’ll love. Prizm streams music directly from the Cloud so you don’t even need to use a phone or a computer. You can now discover and enjoy more music with a single hit of a button.
Press play and the music starts. Music streams directly from the cloud to your speakers. You will no longer have to use your smartphone, computer or any other device to enjoy music. No more browsing, bluetooth pairing or any kind of hacky setup.
Thanks to the signals from your phone and wearables (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), added to a sound level sensor, Prizm knows what is happening in the room. Not only does it identify who is in the room, it can also sense what is the current atmosphere (chilling with friends, working etc.).”
So if you think Prizm is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Prizm become a reality.
