The moment has finally arrived, the folks at Pebble released the much awaited Pebble App Store for Android devices. The Pebble app 2.0 has ended its beta stage, and is now live in the Google Play Store for Pebble users to download and get access to new watch faces, and more on Android.
The update to Pebble 2.0 also brings the new watchapp directory that allows users to find and in stall watchapps for their smartwatch.
We’re excited to announce that the Pebble Android app featuring the Pebble appstore is now available for download from the Google Play store. It’s taken a bit longer than expected, but we wanted our Android users to enjoy the same seamless and delightful experience we recently provided to Pebblers on iOS.
Here’s a list of new features introduced with the latest Pebble 2.0 for Android
- Pebble watchapp directory: browse, find and install the latest watchapps for Pebble.
- List of prior notifications now stored on your Pebble.
- Watchapp locker: keep track of your favorite apps and manage the apps on your Pebble.
- Completely revamped and improved user interface design.
The folks at Pebble also announced they managed to add a few new partners to the list, including eBay, Evernote and a few more, allowing quick access to the apps from the smartwatch.
