Payleven has launched a new NFC Chip & PIN payment reader for small businesses that will be officially launched in the second half of this year.
The design of the new Payleven and the addition of the NFC reader enables small businesses to also accept contactless payments from debit cards or mobile devices.
The Payleven NFC payment reader will be available to purchase for around £100 and requires no monthly cost as it just charges a per transaction fee.
“Payleven is ideal for us as it does not need complicated installation and setup, so we could immediately use it from day one of opening. My husband has a payleven device at our first shop which runs on Android, and I use payleven at our second shop on my iPhone, both tied easily to one account, and now that we accept credit cards we never have to turn away a customer who doesn’t have cash.
Customers who see us using it are really impressed by the latest technology and they react to it. For me – it just leaves more time to focus on my customers and the business, without having to worry about any problems with payments.”
