OnePlus recently announced that they were starting to beta test Android Pie on the OnePlus 6 and now they have released a minor update for the OnePlus 5 and 5T handsets.
The software is OxygenOS 5.1.5 and it has been released as an over the air update for both of the OnePlus 5 handsets. The update includes the August security patch for Google’s Android OS, you can see the changelog below.

- Updated Android security patch to 2018.8
- Confirm PIN without tapping √ to unlock the phone (Settings -> Security & lock screen -> Screen lock -> PIN)

OnePlus has said that the update is being rolled out in stages so it could take a couple of days to reach your handset.
