Intel has this week introduced the highest capacity Optane Drive the company has created in the form of the 1.5 TB Optane SSD 905p. The new hardware offers read and writes speeds up to 2.7 GBps and 2.2GBps (at 1000 MBs per GB) respectively together with IOPs performance offering 575,000 IOPS read and 550,000 IOPs write (4KB Random).
“Features larger capacities so users can handle larger data sets to better extract the value of Intel Optane technology with workloads that place heavy demands on the storage I/O subsystem. Provides and industry-leading 10 DWPD, making the SSD 905P the highest endurance client SSD in the market today.”
