Last month, it was revealed that Oppo Find 5 will not get the Android 4.4 KitKat update, which was indeed a disappointing news for the users.
Worry no more as Oppo confirmed via a comment from their official account on Google+ that both Oppo N1 and Find 5 will get the color OS 2.0 which is based on the Android 4.4 KitkAt.
Someone asked the company about the Color OS 2.0 for the Find 5, to which the company replied, “We have plans for a KitKat based ColorOS 2.0 for both the Find 5 and N1. Please stay tuned for more news on this in the near future.”
This should come as a good news for all Oppo Find 5 and N1 users. Unfortunately, they didn’t give a time frame about when users can expect the update to land of their devices, but don’t worry, we’ll keep an eye on the news and update you as soon as the update starts rolling out.
Oppo Find 5 comes with an excellent set of specifications including a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage, a 13MP camera for photos and videos and a 1.9MP front-facing camera.
