The folks at OnePlus will unveil their highly anticipated OnePlus One smartphone on April 23rd for sub-$400 price tag. The company has posted a lot of teasers, and posted information about what the users can expect from the device in terms of specifications.
They even compared it to the flagship devices, and told them customers why OnePlus might be a better option once it hits retails. According to a new image posted on the company’s social accounts, the handset will hit retail in 16 countries.
According to the image posted by the company on Facebook, the handset will launch in Austria and Germany as well as 14 other countries worldwide. Although there’s no word about which countries, but we can expect the big markets like US and the UK to get the handset along with a few emerging markets like China.
The handset will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 13MP camera for photos and videos, and will come with Cyanogenmod as its OS. As far as the price is concerned, the handset will hit retail below $400 in the US and 350 Euros in Europe, which is a pretty decent price considering the specifications it has to offer.
In almost two weeks, the company will launch the highly anticipated handset. We’ll update you once it gets official.
