OnePlus recently confirmed that their new OnePlus 6T smartphone would come with an in display fingerprint sensor and now we have some more details about the sensor.
The company has now revealed that the in display fingerprint sensor on the handset will be an optical sensor rather than an ultrasonic sensor.
As a reminder the new OnePlus 6T is rumored to come with a 6.41 inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
The new OnePlus flagship will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and a choice of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB and 128GB of storage. The handset is rumored to come with a 16 megapixel front camera and dual rear cameras. The dual camera will include a 20 megapixel and 16 megapixel sensor.
OnePlus are holding a press event for their new OnePlus 6T smartphone on the 30th of October, the handset is also expected to launch in China on the 5th of November.
