Earlier this year in February, we heard that OnePlus 3 may debut by the end of the second quarter this year. Since then, we didn’t hear much about the alleged device.
Recently, the alleged OnePlus 3 was spotted on GeekBench as well as GFXBench revealing what the handset may come with when it launches later this year.
GeekBench and GFXBench listings reveal a little different specifications of the alleged device. The device spotted on GFXBench comes with a RAIN RAIN 3000 model number, offering users with a whopping 6GB of RAM to its users and is running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as its operating system.
On the other hand, GFXBench reveals that the handset with model number “Rain 3000” boasts 4GB of RAM on board. Other listed features include Snapdragon 820 processor, 16MP camera for photos and videos, 8MP front-facing camera, and a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. Previous rumors hinted at a 5.5-inch display, but there’s a possibility that the company may reduced the screen size.
There’s also a possibility that OnePlus may launch two variants of their flagship device this year, boasting different specifications. It’s too early to say anything since the handset is still a few months away. We’ll update you if we get to hear anything more about the device.
