Kevlar charging cable

Smartphone charging cable and accessory design and manufacturing company Nomad has unveiled their latest creation in the form of super strong Kevlar charging cables. Designed to “outlast your device” the new robust cables are constructed using a Kevlar outer braid and center core. Check out the video below to learn more about the latest range of charging cables that offer a variety of connections including USB-C, Lightning and Micro USB.

Nomad Kevlar charging cables

With prices starting from $35 for the 1.5 m Lightning charging cable, Nomad offers a variety of different configurations including a 1.5m multi-connection cable offering USB-C, Lightning and Micro USB in one for $40.

“We got tired of cables breaking on us all the time, so we set out to engineer a cable to outlast the rest. For the first time ever in a cable, we tightly double-braided Kevlar fibers throughout the exterior and reinforced it with a Kevlar® central core. Built with a robust exterior metal housing, each charging connector is designed to outlast and is backed by our 5-year warranty. We have over engineered the strain relief support system which is where most cables fail.”
