Last month, Nokia’s Chris Webber confirmed that Nokia would bring their PureView technology to their Lumia Windows Phone devices, and now Nokia’s VP of worldwide developer relations, Richard Kerris has revealed some more details about PureView for their Lumia handsets.
Speaking in an interview with Neowin, Kerris said that Nokia’s PureView technology would be available on new Nokia Lumia handsets ‘very soon’, no specific date was given, although we suspect some of Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 devices will be the first to use their PureView technology.
He also revealed that Nokia has plans to launch Lumia Windows Phone devices on Sprint and Verizon in the US, although no details were given on when this would happen.
It will be interesting to see what the new Nokia Lumia devices with the PureView technology are like, this could make for some very interesting Windows Phone smartphones.
