Nokia Lumia 520 is one of the best-selling Windows Phone 8 handset available in the market. Interestingly, it’s not just the best-selling WP8 handset, but the most popular device in the Windows category that includes PCs, tablets and smartphones.

It is reported that Nokia Lumia 520 is available for £63 on pay as you go upgrade from a known UK retailer, Phones4U.

Unfortunately, there’s a catch here – the phone is not available for online purchase. The handset is only available as “pay as you go upgrade”, which means that you must visit a Phones4U store with your existing PAYG SIM card and ask for an upgrade. In the end, you can walk out of the store with a shiny new Nokia Lumia 520 for just £63 and use it on your existing network.

Nokia Lumia 520 comes with entry-level specifications and features 4-inch with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot, 5MP back snapper and runs Windows Phone 8 on top of it.

The good news is that it’s also upgradeable to the latest Nokia Amber/GDR2 update, which is rolling out for Nokia Lumia is many global markets. The latest update brings some much-needed features such as FM Radio, call/SMS blocking, glance screen and more.

If you are looking for an affordable yet a decent Windows Phone 8 device, Nokia Lumia 520 might be your best bet. It is rumored that Nokia is also working on its successor, Nokia Lumia 525 aka Glee, which is expected to see the daylight on October 22nd in UAE.
