We were expecting the Nokia 808 PureView to go on sale in the UK in May, but the last thing we heard from mobile retailers in the UK is that the device will be available in July.
The handset is now available in India for 33,899 Rupee, which is about $600, and the device features a 1.3GHz single core processor and comes with 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards.
Other specifications in the Nokia 808 PureView include a 41 41 megapixel sensor with Carl Zeiss optics, with oversampling technology which according to Nokia improves low light performance and it apparently captures five times more light.
The 41 megapixel camera is capable of recording full high definition video in 1080p at 30 frames per second and it also features 4x loss less Zoom, and can capture 720P HD video at 6x zoom.
As soon as we get some more information on the exact launch date for the 808 PureView in the UK and Europe, along with some pricing details we will let you guys know.
