WiFithing has created a new piece of hardware specifically designed to create Internet of Things projects that requires no coding and can be used straight out of the box to develop and build your very own Internet connected projects.
The WiFithing as the hardware has been aptly named has taken to Kickstarter to raise £15,000 to make the jump into production. Watch the video below to learn more about this new device that can be used to build a variety of different applications.
The development team behind WiFithing based in London explain more about his inspiration, design and functionality :
WiFithing is the first truly code free complete Internet of Things (“IoT”) platform for home owners and enthusiasts alike. A simple web based set up procedure will program the devices and set up your personal web app, so you can control and monitor your devices from your smartphone or computer anywhere in the world. WiFithing is fully secure.
The WiFithing platform has three main components:
– The WiFithing web application.
– The WiFithing master device.
– Smaller WiFithing slave devices.The web application communicates over wi-fi with your WiFithing master devices which in turn communicates over ISM band radio with your WiFithing slave devices.
