ILM studios in San Francisco, Singapore, Vancouver and London each contributed to the film effects as did our partners Hybride, Base FX and Virtuos.

The studio has been a pioneer in the field of visual effects since its inception, and their work on The Force Awakens is a testament to their expertise. From the intricate details of BB-8, the lovable droid, to the massive and menacing Starkiller Base, the visual effects team managed to create a world that felt both fantastical and real.
