Following on from the mistaken publication of the new The Division trailer yesterday, which was then pulled by Ubisoft but was unfortunately mirrored and shared throughout the Internet. Ubisoft has today taken the decision to now launch the latest Tom Clancy’s The Division ‘Agent Journey’ trailer officially.
The new Tom Clancy’s The Division game will be officially launching on March 8th 2016, and will be available to play on both PC systems, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one consoles.
The game is currently being developed by Ubisoft Massive, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Reflections, Ubisoft Annecy and will provide gamers with an open world third person shooter, that includes plenty of role-playing features, together with survival elements. Check out the latest trailer below to whet your appetite before the game’s launch.
When you joined the Division, what were you expecting? I’m sure they told you about the sacrifices you’d have to make. But none of us could have ever predicted this.
The Division takes place in mid-crisis New York, an open world with destructive environments that is free for players to explore. The player’s mission is to restore order by investigating the source of a virus. Players have to team up with other Division agents as they progress. The game’s core mechanics are similar to other third-person-shooters, in which player character can carry three weapons, and explosives like sticky bombs and smart mines to fight against enemies.
As soon as more details are announced by Ubisoft in the run-up to the launch of the new title on March 8th 2016 we will keep you updated as always.
