Following in the footsteps of the Playstation Network and Xbox Live, Steam has now launched a new service called Steam Wallet that allows you to preload money to a Steam account.
The new service allows you to add cash in increments of $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100 to any steam accounts. Perfect for any gamers without credit cards or if you need to budget your spend a little on games.
The new Steam Wallet is also expected to pave the way for the introduction of prepaid cards by Steam in retail stores. The Steam Wallet service is still currently in Beta at the moment and Steam hasn’t officially announced prepaid cards as yet.
You can start adding funds at the Steam Wallet web page.
