Makers, electronic enthusiasts, hobbyists and developers may be interested in a new automation and robotics contest which has been announced by Arduino and Distrelec this week offering €15,000 worth of prizes. “Take on the challenge and create the next big thing in robotics and automation. We’ve teamed up with Arduino to bring you a fantastic competition. We want you to build innovative solutions to advance Industry 4.0.”
First-place winners will receive a Keithley DMM6500 Bench Top Multimeter and a trip to Maker Faire Rome. While second place will receive a Weller WT1010 Set: WT1 Soldering Station, WTP90 Soldering Iron, Safety Rest 200, XNT A Soldering Tip and those placed from 3rd to 10th receive a Grove Starter Kit for Arduino.
