We just heard about a new quad core Android tablet from HTC, the HTC Vertex HD, and now it would appear that HTC also has a new quad core Android smartphone planned.
According to the guys over at Pocket Now, the device is codenamed the Evitare and is apparently a new version of the HTC One X, and the device features a quad core 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
The device also features a HD display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, that is all we know so far, there are no details on whether the handset will share a similar design to the One X or whether it will be a completely new device altogether.
Considering HTC recently announced that they would be cutting down on the number of smartphone they produced, we suspect the device could be a more powerful variant of the HTC One X.
