The other day we heard that HTC were working on a new Android tablet, now one has been discovered in some benchmarks, the HTC Vertex HD and it looks like it will feature a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
According to the details revealed, the HTC Vertex HD will come with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and will feature a quad core 1.3 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

Other rumored specifications include Beats Audio, a 2 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera. That is all we know so far, as soon as we get some more details, including an actual picture of the device, we will let you guys know.
HTC’s Foray into the Tablet Market
HTC has been known for its innovative smartphones, but its journey into the tablet market has been met with mixed reviews. The HTC Flyer, for instance, was one of their earlier attempts to capture the tablet market. Despite its unique features like the HTC Scribe pen, it struggled to compete with more established tablets like the iPad. The HTC Vertex HD, however, seems to be a more robust attempt to make a mark in the tablet industry.
The inclusion of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor is a significant upgrade, promising better performance and efficiency. This quad-core processor is known for its ability to handle high-definition video playback, advanced gaming, and multitasking with ease. This makes the HTC Vertex HD a promising device for both entertainment and productivity.
Potential Impact of Beats Audio
One of the standout features of the HTC Vertex HD is the inclusion of Beats Audio technology. This is not the first time HTC has integrated Beats Audio into their devices; previous smartphones like the HTC Sensation XE also featured this audio enhancement. Beats Audio promises a richer, more immersive sound experience, which could make the Vertex HD a favorite among music lovers and audiophiles.
In addition to its audio capabilities, the HTC Vertex HD’s camera specifications are also noteworthy. While a 2-megapixel rear camera may not seem impressive compared to today’s standards, it is adequate for basic photography needs. The 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera is suitable for video calls and selfies, making it a versatile device for everyday use.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the operating system. Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich was a significant update in the Android ecosystem, introducing features like a refined user interface, improved multitasking, and better app management. Although newer versions of Android have since been released, Ice Cream Sandwich laid the groundwork for many of the features we take for granted today.
As we await more details about the HTC Vertex HD, it’s clear that HTC is aiming to create a well-rounded tablet that caters to a variety of needs. Whether it’s for entertainment, productivity, or communication, the Vertex HD seems poised to offer a comprehensive experience.
