We have heard lots of rumors about the new Nokia 9 smartphone over the last few months, according to a recent report the handset will launch in January. HMD Global is holding a press event in China on the 19th of January, the device will apparently be launched at this event.
There will apparently be another device launched at the event a second generation Nokia 8 smartphone. As yet there are no details on what specifications this handset will come with.
The Nokia 9 is rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The device may come with Android 8.0 Oreo and it will apparently comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
HMD Global are expected to launch the new Nokia 9 in the US as well as a number of other countries, we will have more details about the handset as soon as they are available.
