With the new Nexus 7 tablet recently appearing at the FCC, there has been speculation that Google are about to launch the next generation Nexus 7 tablet, and now it looks like the Google Nexus 7 will launch next month.
Google has yet to confirm the existing of the new Nexus 7, although we have seen a 3G Nexus 7 and a 4G Nexus 7 in some recent FCC filings. The Google Nexus 7 is expected to feature the next version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
So far we have heard that the new Nexus 7 will feature a 7 inch full HD display, the display will feature a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, although it is possible that it will come with a higher resolution.
The Nexus 7 is also rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, the device will apparently come with a choice of 16GB and 32GB of built in storage.
Other rumored specifications on the second generation Nexus 7 include front and rear facing cameras. On the front of the device is rumored to be a 2 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back the device will feature a 5 megapixel camera for photos and video.
If Google does intend to launch their new Google Nexus 7 tablet in July, then we would expect some sort of official announcement from them around the end of this month or at the beginning of July.
As soon as we get some more information on the new Google Nexus 7, including some decent photos of the device we will let you guys know.
