The next generation Google Nexus 7 tablet is now official and we have the full details on the Nexus 7, including all of the new Nexus 7 specs and features.
Yesterday the device was leaked by Best Buy before the official announcement, so we already knew many of the specifications on the new Nexus 7.
The Nexus 7 features a full high definition 7 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1020 pixels at 323ppi, the display comes with scratch resistant corning glass.
The New Nexus 7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz processor and it also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the new Nexus 7 tablet include a 1.2 megapixel front facing fixed focus camera, and a 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus.
The Nexus 7 comes with the new version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it features dual band 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC with Android Beam.
There will be WiFi only and WiFi and LTE versions of the Nexus 7, the 16GB Nexus 7 will retail for $229 whilst the 32GB model will retail for $269.99.
